Nusa Penida is best known as a world class diving destination. There are more than 20 identified dive sites around the island, the most notable including Crystal Bay, Manta Point, Toyapakeh, Suana Bay and Malibu Point. The rich waters around the three islands support no less than 247 species of coral and 562 species of fish.

Many dive operators based in Bali and neighboring Nusa Lembongan offer specific dive trips to Nusa Penida. Mola Mola are migratory fish and most likely from July to October although sightings are reported all year round. Ana a beautiful tennis player from Serbia become champion, after the final in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia, on Sunday (7/11/10), winning straight sets 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) over Russian player Alisa Kleybanova. With such success, Ivanovic has the right won a prize money worth 210,000 U.S. dollars, and additional points 375. As for Kleybanova, who first appeared on Bali, “only” got 120,000 U.S. dollars prize money (about USD 1.068 billion), plus additional points 255. The tournament is a cover of the 2010 WTA calendar provides a total prize of 600,000 U.S. dollars. If Ivanovic and Kleybanova won the prize, then Kimiko Date-Krumm which ranks third prize U.S. $ 70,000,180 points, followed Danielah Hantuchova with Raihan 60,000 U.S. dollars , 165 points.

Before sharing happiness during a press conference, Ivanovictried to utter a single word in Indonesian. The word chosen is the translation of ‘thank you’. After hearing the pronunciation of the journalists, Ivanovic was immediately pronounce it correctly: ‘thank you’. Sorry, I do not know the Indonesian language. What if the translation thank you? – Ana Ivanovic  “Terimakasih! ” That’s the first word that is known and can be spoken Ivanovic in the Indonesian language.

Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Borobudur was built in the 8th century by the Syalendra dynasty to represent many layers of Buddhist theory. From a birds eye view, the temple is in the shape of a traditional Buddhist mandala. A mandala is central to a great deal of Buddhist and Hindu art, the basic form of most Hindu and Buddhist mandalas is a square with four entry points, and a circular centre point. The name of Borobudur itself means a temple on the high places. Borobudur is close to the major centre of Yogyakarta, also referred to by locals as Jogja (Yogyakarta).

STUPA: The main Stupa crowning the Borobudur Buddhist  monument.  The upper rounded terrace with rows of bell shaped stupas containing Buddha images symbolize Arupadhatu, the sphere of formlesness. The main stupa itself is empty, symbolizing complete perfection of enlightenment.

It consists of three ascending realms, Kamadhatu (the realm of desire), Rupadhatu (the realm of form), and Arupadhatu (the realm of formlessness). Punden Berundak Borobudur-shaped building consists of 10 levels. Height of 42 meters before being renovated and 34.5 meters after the renovation because the lowest level was used as a brace. Six lowest level and square in the upper three floors and a circular highest level of Buddhist stupa facing to the west. Each terrace symbolizes the stages of human life. In accordance madhhabs Mahayana Buddhism, anyone who wants to reach a level as Buddha through every level must be that life. The structure, composed of 55,000 square meters of lava-rock is erected on a hill in the form of a stepped-pyramid of six rectangular storeys, three circular terraces and a central stupa forming the summit. The whole structure is in the form of a lotus, the sacred flower of Buddha.

Reliefs: The carvings on the walls of the Borobudur Karmawibhangga (southeast corner of the floor 0), In accordance with the symbolic meaning of the foot of the temple, reliefs which decorate the walls of a hidden shelf that illustrate the law of Karma.  Every picture illustrates a story that has a causal correlation. Reliefs not only give the illiustrations of human moral  life and the cause and effect of bad moral, also the rewards of ood deeds. Overall, the portrayal of human life in the circle of birth – life – death (samsara) which never ends, and by Buddhism  they will conclude towards perfection.

Toba Lake is a large lake, 100 km long and 30 km wide, in the middle of the northern part of the Indonesian island of Sumatra, Indonesia. When you see it you will probably be amazed of its natural beauty and lovely landscapes, but do not forget how it was formed in the past. The enormous inland lake has a history spoken of in local myths, but the true story of Toba and how this enormous inland lake evolved, lies in knowing the story of its  Toba volcano.

The Toba Lake is definetely a place to visit if you are in Indonesia. The main nearest to the lake town is Parapat, which is about 4 hours by car from Medan (4-6 hours by public bus). Local transportation around the lake takes the form of boats (cheaper, school boats with limited schedules and more expensive public boats that operate throughout the day).
